Fernando Torres Looks Ready for Euro 2008…
Fernando Torres might have finished the season with Liverpool trophyless, but he’s in damn fine form. El Nino was the main man as Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool beat Juande Ramos’ Spurs (is this the Premiership or La Liga?) 2-0. He made the first with a flick on to Andriy Voronin and then turned Michael Dawson inside out and back again before poking home for the second.
Now bring on Euro 2008…

There are more than just Torres to get Spain rolling. Obviously a hot Torres is good to have, but other players like Fabregas… will that brilliant Cesc or the one that looked tired or injured? Marcos Senna will be arguably the most important player on this team.
How will Puyol look? Xavi? Iniesta? All of these after one of the most traumatic ends of season in their careers. Bojan might not go, and if he does it will be coming off the bench. If you diagree, would you take him out over David Villa?
Casillas is a lock, he is money regardless. Hey, they seem like a good bet as well. 7:1 odds seem nice… although this is for entertainment purposes only.
