Spain finally arrived at their World Cup base Thursday and were greeted by around 1,000 people at the Kaiserau Sportschule in Kamen.
History is on Spain’s side with their selection of its home base. According to Reuters: The Sportschule was used by West Germany and Germany to prepare for the 1974 and 1990 World Cups and on both occasions they went on to win the tournament.
Good karma? I’ll take it.
Predictions for Day 1 of the World Cup: Germany 2, Costa Rica 0; Ecuador 1, Poland 0
