Cesc-watch 2006
OK, that’s enough.
No more talk about how Cesc Fabregas is making a push for a role in Spain’s national side this summer. Let’s just slot him in.

He has proven himself in the Champions League this season and yesterday made Arsenal supporters universally say “Patrick Vieira who?”
In the opening leg in a Champions League quarterfinal against Juventus, Fabregas scored the first goal 40 minutes in, then set up a Thierry Henry strike in the second half to help Arsenal cruise to a 2-0 win.
Henry then heaped praise on the Spanish 18-year-old.
Granted, Cesc has just one cap for Spain, but when he’s so successful at the highest level of the club game, how can you deny him a spot? Here’s to hoping Luis ignores age and puts together the best possible team — one that includes Fabregas in the starting 11.

If he isn’t in Germany they should throw Argonnes in jail and throw the key away.

I totally agree, what Cesc is in football, Fernando Alonso is to F1 and Nadal is to Tenis… Young Un-matched SPANISH TALENT. Not because I’m spanish, because the facts are there, Cesc is one of the Best players in one of the hardest Leagues with a strong club, at the age of 18…HE should be the FIRST Pick up with Fernando Torres who plays alot like Henry.

can spain win world cup 2006?
I say they are very much capable of winning the cup.
I’m a Nepali &I am a very big fan of spanish soccer team.I hope Cesc along with Torres,Jose Antonio Reyes ,Luis Garcia , starts in the starting 11 .We all know they have proven their worth. If spain is to win this world cup(I think they will) then Argonnes must look for commitment level and permormance rether than name of player he is very lucky to have so many options. This spanish team is one of the strongest. We have got world class players in every position.I would keep Reyes as a striker rather than midfielder he is as smooth as silk.Torres and him will make a great killer for other team.I am not too sure about Raul though he is my favourite player.
