Del Horno responds

Asier Del Horno responded to Bernd Schuster’s lashing by saying “If that’s the only thing he’s seen, he has followed the Premier League and Chelsea very little” and asked Schuster to “respect” Luis Aragones’ decision.

Earlier in the day, Schuster said Del Horno had done nothing this year but kick Lionel Messi in the Champions League.

Del Horno played a significant role on Chelsea’s English Premier League-winning squad. Mariano Pernia has been undeniably strong for Getafe.

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned the other left back? Has Antonio Lopez’s play been so stellar that we should debate over Pernia and Del Horno, and not Lopez?
