El Nino in England? Not yet

April 6th, 2006 | By: Ian | 5 Comments »

Spanish striker Fernando Torres continues to insist he’s going nowhere and will stay at Atletico Madrid next year.

I suppose that means he’s not going here (Tottenham).

Or here (Newcastle).

Or here (Liverpool).

Or here (Arsenal).

Most prognosticators have Torres in Spain’s starting eleven this year. He’s an ideal target for midfield playmakers, of which Spain has no shortage so if you want to put some money on a Golden Boot winner, may I suggest El Nino? The lanky 22-year-old has been racking up goals for the mattress makers for the past four years. He’s ready for the big stage.
