Hope not lost

Spain coach Luis Aragones says hope is not lost for Spanish players recovering from injury or who do not have a current first-team place.

This includes Raul, Vicente, Xavi and Juan Carlos Valeron. Even Michel Salgado has struggled to find a consistent place in his club team recently.

I still expect to see Raul and Xavi in Germany. Vicente may not be so lucky and even he knows it, according to another Reuters report.
