UEFA Magazine has a piece about David Villa, in which they discuss Villa wanting to quit the game at age 14, but his father talking him out of it.

The article goes on to call Villa an “in-form tournament striker” for the World Cup who could be a Golden Boot contender.

At first, I considered Villa a “super sub” to come on in late games. But his undeniable success for Valencia should move him into a starting role for Spain. Unless Luis does something drastically stupid — such as start Raul over him.

personally i think raul should play over torres, i think torres is overrated and is not clutch, raul is the captain of the team and the alltime leading goal scorer he deserves to go out as a starter.
