Pernia, Capdevila on stand-by

An ankle injury may keep Asier Del Horno out of the World Cup. Because of the injury, Luis Aragones is expected to turn toward Joan Capdevila or Mariano Pernia at left back.

Pernia only recently acquired Spanish citizenship and there was a big controversy when Del Horno was selected over him. If you remember, Capdevila was called up at Euro 2004 because of an injury to Michel Salgado.

If Luis calls up Capdevila, I may throw up.
