Although they played their non-starters, the ones who did start were very good (ie Raul). In fact, Torres came in later on, and he couldn’t get anything going for the team.

Saudi played badly in the 1st half, but came out on the attack in the second. Zayed was amazing…he has 29 saves for the tournament; T-3 so far. Too bad he won’t be adding more.

There’s always next time I guess.

Quique has posted some very odd scorelines. In my opinion Brazil will face Spain in 1/4s and Spain will beat them 2-1. But Ghana could be the surprise package at this tourney. Your right about Italy though, the aussies will beat them easily.

BTW as I’ve said b4, history don’t count for squat in tourneys. Just looking at what greece did at euro 2004 can tell you that anything can happen and if Spain go out their and fight like its a war and are prepared to give their all to win then no doubt they will win.
