On its way to me is a Spain shirt with Raul on the back. I’m an England and Liverpool fan so England come first but Spain are my ’second’ team for the World Cup.

We’ve got, of course, a Spanish connection at Liverpool which I thought I’d embrace a little. Xabi Alonso is one of our best players and Pepe Reina, overall, has done well for us. Luis Garica is occasionally brilliant and often terrible! But in those brilliant moments he’s scored some crucial goals.

Raul, a few years ago, was my favourite player so I thought I’d pay homage to him. I hope he shows his quality at the World Cup.

We have Spanish football on TV over here and I’ve enjoyed it a lot so…Go Spain! Except if it’s England vs. Spain of course…

Robert.
