What about Reyes?

A basic preview of the Spain national team. 907 words. Not ONE mention of Arsenal’s starlet Jose Antonio Reyes.

Anyone who watched today’s Champions League marquee match-up will tell you that Reyes made one hell of a case for himself for MOTM and was a key part in causing Real Madrid’s defensive woes.

I still think the Real Madrid defender – Joao Cicinho – is wandering about the Santiago Bernabeu pitch looking for his lost jockstrap. Reyes turned this guy inside and out so many times today it became comical.

“Hey! Over there – catch that guy wearing number 9″

Okay enough making fun of Cicinho, he is a great young Brazilian defender, which makes Reyes feats today all the more impressive.

Jose Antonio has to be on this World Cup squad and he has to be given a chance to show his creativity out on the left side.

To make a slightly bizarre comparison – he is like the Demarcus Beasely of the Spanish National team. How can he not figure in Aragones plans?
