What are the odds?

I’ll admit it. I’m a betting man. It’s my only vice. And I’d imagine I’ll partake in a little wagering on this summer’s World Cup.

But why wait?

Several sports wagering sites have betting lines up for the World Cup already.

Although the odds and options differ from one sports wagering site to the next, Spain is 12 to 1 to win the World Cup at my book of preference. For those of you who aren’t complete degenerates, that means you can bet $10 to win $120, assuming Spain wins the Cup in July.

In my opinion, this is one of the best deals out there. Here’s a list of other odds as of today…

So who’s a good deal? And who is a bad deal?

I’d say both the USA and Czech Republic are worth a small bet. Both Germany, based on its recent performances, and England, at 6-to-1 seem a bit high.

And heck, why not Trinidad and Tobago? Bet $10 on them and you win $7,500? You could almost buy the rights to the Disney movie after that one.
