Xavi ready to go

Good news.

Spain and Barcelona midfielder Xavi is set to return to full training.

He tore a ligament in his knee in December, but now insists he is going to play a role in helping Barcelona win a pair of trophies this spring.

His return means Spain’s first team, once ravaged by injuries, is close to full strength. Many are optimistic Xavi will work his way onto Spain’s national side, while not quite as optimistic about a certain Madrid forward.
