Spanish Update June 28th, 2007

Again, nothing much of note is happening. Foolish Real president Calderon is close to sacking Fabio Capello while Athletico striker Fernando Torres is on the verge of a move to join the Spanish contingent at Liverpool. Barcelona look to continuing revamping their squad, eyeing promising Brazilian winger Elano after the signing of Yaya Toure. They have also come out and said Thiago Motta will be allowed to leave.
