Spanish Update June 29th, 2007, I’ll be off on holiday

June 29th, 2007 | By: Jason Pereira | No Comments »

Hello, fellow Spain fans.

The Spanish transfer window sleepily drifts along with just the big signing of Thierry Henry and the sacking of Fabio Capello being exciting news thus far. Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce is currently in Barcelona to discuss the possible transfers of unwanted Ludovic Giuly and Edmilson and Mijatovic gratefully thanks Capello for Real’s first title win in four years by revealing why they sacked him. Funny how they do things in Madrid, heh?

I will be off for a month-long vacation during which I will have limited access to the Internet so I’m sad to say I will not be updating again until the 1st of August. While I’m gone, you can keep up with the Spanish team in FIFA’s U20 World Cup here.

Also, please check out my football articles website, which although titled “A View of the Arse” contains articles on European & International football. It will not be updated till I return either, but you can comment on the articles and tell me what you think. Click on the below picture to go to the website.
