What are you talking about? What about Nihat's 2 chances on goal? What about if Semih had tapped the ball when the cross came in? We had a LB playing CB, We had our AM playing RM we had a 4th choice Defender on. If we didnt have a retard coach then we would have won both of these matches.

Cem, were we watching the same game? What chances did Turkey have on goal? We carried the play and created the better opportunities but Torres didn't exactly have his best day at the office. Don't make excuses about injuries, we had our fair share too and as a result our whole backline and midfield was re-arranged.

Hah, Spain dominating from end to end? I dont think so. We had more chances than you, we dominated after the 30th minute and you guys get a lucky goal from a penalty. We then missed a series of chances then you guys counter attacked and scored. Shows how the best team in the world struggled against a demotivated, injured, Turkish side.

I agree Jim, too defensive for my liking and still love Torres/Villa together. Let's hope Iniesta is back quick so things can go back to normal. In the mean time though I'd like to see some of the amazing young talent given a shot against the weaker teams like Estonia and what not.

Spain have played much better, but the sign of a great side is to win when playing below your capabilities. I don't think the Senna and Alonso partnership will work either.

Denise, we were the stronger side throughout the match and thoroughly deserved the win. It should have been more convincing but I give full credit to Turkey and their keeper Volkan for playing solid throughout the match.

We were solid throughout and I'm happy that these matches with Turkey all over because I rate them highly as a solid squad who can definitely give us a run for our money. The rest of the matches from here on in will be a bit easier with the exception of perhaps Bosnia who seem to be doing quite well in qualifying thus far. I hope we will get to see more playing time for guys like Mata, Capel and Bojan against squads like Armenia, Estonia et al.

I was so happy to see Spain win it yesterday! I was glad to see we preserved our winning streak as well, which is now an impressive 31. Spain is in such great form, and we proved how deep of a bench we have. It just goes to show how talented all of our players are, when substitutes can be pulled in, and deliver when the situation calls for it. I guess it was Spain who were the "unpredictable" ones yesterday. Funny how the tables turned in this match, Turkey is always known as being the unpredictable and dangerous ones, especially at the last minutes, but today Spain proved they are capable of the same kind of tactics. I'm very excited for Spain, and I think we will finish top of the group. I doubt we are going to relinquish points to any of the teams in our group, because honestly, Turkey was our toughest challenge. I highly doubt that Spain are going to lose to teams like Bosnia, Estonia, Belgium or Armenia.
